3 days and counting!!!
You go my little "princess"....emelia has worn underpants for three days straight and has not had any accidents. Yep, SHE DECIDED that she was gonna potty train while we were away at Disney. Forget that Mommy tried to do it before Christmas! She decided she knew how to go, knew how to hold it (which she did from Magic Kingdom---on the bus ride to the hotel ---and until we got back to our hotel room) and knows when she has to go! WAY TO GO! Keep your fingers crossed,this may be it! I took her to get new underpants today and she wanted ones with puppies on them. Of course we could not find any...so if anyone sees some let me know! By the way, princess now believes that she is a princess! Thanks to a week of everyone calling her princess! Princess is good with me if it means NO MORE DIAPERS! :)
Where to Start???
Well we are back! What a fun awesome and exhausting trip. I can not remember the last time I just focused on having FUN! We did so much and I have sooo much to write about! BUT I am exhausted! So more to come on DISNEY! when I get the pictures uploaded! But to me the funniest story from our whole trip!.....
We were at Lion King the Show and Ethan and I were sitting next to an older couple. They were very friendly and really into talking to Ethan. The old man was asking Ethan lots of different questions, how old are you, where are you from, is that your sister? and he answered every one...Well there we sit and Ethan decides to pull his right hand up into his shirt sleeve. He looks at the man next to him and says "HEY, where did my ARM go". The man looks down at him and says "I don't know, where did mine go?".....YES, the man was an amputee!!!! The man's wife and I were laughing so hard we were crying. The man looked at Ethan and said "mine is in a factory in Michigan". VERY FUNNY and Ethan really had no idea what we were all talking and laughing about.

I have HAD it!
First of all it snowed last night. Wow! we woke up to the ground/roads covered. Schools closed again. Angry Mom's on the phone asking me to use my magical wont get hurt snowplow powers and come to thier house. Great weather service we have. If I sound a little grumpy....I AM!!!! Here's why!
Emelia and Ethan both had ear infections last week. So -miserable week/nights all around. We took Emelia to the DR. twice (of course the first time...nothing was wrong.....second time BINGO..major ear infection. Ethan...ear infection. Then last night...Ethan was up till 3:00AM, yes I said AM -DAMMIT! We had a "snow" day so I preceeded to take him to the DR. Of course we get that look from the nurse (who I love) that says "you again?" FANTASTIC! Well, Baaaammmmoo..Ethan has an absess in his ear. So I went to pick up his medication.again. Apparently 20 soupy boopy diapers and 2 raw butts was not enough.....
Oh.. I forgot to mention that Mommy has not felt well for the last 2 days. Well...I then proceed to take myself to the Dr.- Mommy's got Bronchitis! Yeah....just what I hoped for! I head to Target to get my prescription filled, which by the way I am no longer capable of carrying a paper copy to the pharmacy myself....the script is sent via computer right to them. I go home, injest my medicine that is going to make everything go away and we will all finally be on our way to sickie freedoom! WRONG!!!
At 7:30 I sit in my bed doing paperwork...or catching up on paper work and itch...scratch..what the hell is that....OH MY GOD! I have HIVES! YOU HAVE GOT TO BE F>>>>>> KIDDING ME!!
Call Dr. ... stop taking med NOW....take 50mg of benedryl (which I only have childrens of so I take half the bottle) and if you begin to have trouble breathing head straight to the emergency room. Oh and if you fall asleep, make your husband watch you in case..... oh...if the hives dont stop "growing" after you take the Bendryl...go strait to aforementioned place. New med tomorrow.... and another lovely co-pay!:)
So to now. I am sitting here trying not to itch....red blotched all over my back, my scalp, my arms and crawling up my face,not to mention IN my ears. NOW DO YOU UNDERSTAND ????
AND the best part is that we all need to be healthy to leave for DISNEY in 10 days.

25 Things About Me
Not so sure I am gonna be able to do this but I am going to take the challenge!
25 things you might not know about me (In no particular order):
1. I have moved 15 times in my life- seriously
2. I absolutely adore my children
3. I LOVE buffalo chicken wings
4. I hate to cook but like to bake cakes/special treats
5. I wish I had more time to be with my friends
6. I will become an aunt again- tomorrow!
7. I used to be an aerobics instructor- step, sculp, low impact and water aerobic instructor-deep, impact, arthritis. I am certified in each!
8. I love to swim
9. I miss my family-which is now scattered over the eastern seaboard
10. I really miss my friends from Buffalo, CO and WA
11. I NEVER EVER thought I would one day have my own business
12. I truly enjoy what I do-pediatric occupational therapist
13. Can't wait to go back to the Andirondacks!
14. Have a new favorite vacation spot- Litchfield Beach
15. Hate eating at Qdoba 1 time per week but go because my family likes it! :)
16. My favorite TV show is Grey's
17. My favorite song is Unanswered Prayers
18. OKay...I like country music
19. Miss making whale sounds with my husbands best friend
20. I enjoy hiking, whitewater rafting, rock climbing, camping, fishing-and did ALL of these things regularily before I became a MOM
21. I have 2 bachelor degrees and a master's. I was in college for 12 years STRAIGHT! (can you say NERD)
22. I am not technologically savy
23. I have known my husband since January 1992- 17 years!
24. I like to shop and find a good deal (I am slighlty neurotic about it!)
25. If I could have one wish, it would be to slow down and really be able to enjoy time with my family!

Abigail Mae
Just found out that Abigail Mae will make her enterance on February 2nd and that Mama Aunt Jana is pretty big(her words not mine) and can't wait for her to show up. BUT she cant come too soon...Daddy Mark is in charge of the Border Patrol Color Gurad in the Inaugeral Parade for Obama next week!!! We'll have to see if he is on TV!!
Nonny & Sherwood Were Here!
Nonny (Garret's mom) and Sherwood were here over the weekend. Emelia does not remember Nonny so it was nice that she got to meet her and can now remember who she is. Sherwood is Nonny's fiancee. They are on their way to Florida for 3 months as they have decided to leave the snow and gloom of Buffalo to become snowbirds in Tampa. Maybe we will get the chance to visit them and Garret's Grandpa and Betty sometime when they are there! We went to Discovery Place on Saturday and out to dinner on Sunday. Other than that we had a nice relaxing visit!
Last Thursday was a real windy day around town and unbeknowst to me we had several little tornados in the area (DID ANYONE ELSE KNOW THIS OR WAS I IN A CAVE THAT DAY????) Anyways, 6 foot of my parents chimney flew off, yes, I said flew off thier roof and landed on thier back porch. Needless to say the insurance adjuster said they needed a new roof, and of course a new chimney. Well good, that will help them sell it when they find that bigger house they want!
ONLY ONE MONTH TILL DISNEY!!! (But who's counting!)

WOW....
Well, its back to work tommorrow! :( Yeh, I am REALLY sad! We have had a fast and furious 2weeks.....Christmas, grandpa and grandma T were here, new years, movies, visits to grandma and grandpa grey, organizing all the new toys,de-babytizing parts of the house, 1st play date (outside of our neighborhood friends :) ) and more. I will get the pictures up soon but Christmas was really awesome this year!
Ethan had his 4 year old visit just before Christmas. He is now 441/2" tall and weighs in at 47 pounds. All other developmental items seem in check! He is as usual in the 95% for weight and well...um... over the 100% for height! YIKES! No surprise as we have gone through 2 shoes sizes and 1 clothes size since the very end of August!
Well, Nonny and her fiancee will be here this weekend so I am sure I will have lots to write about after their visit. nonny has never seen Miss EMELIA!!!!
